Hi I'm Mike,
An arborist / forager living on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand hunting unusual plants and mushrooms for a variety of different purposes.
For the past year I have also been working part time at Aho Aho, the Horticultual gardens at Otaki College. This is a funded project for together growing veggies with students using regenerative techniques.
I am interested in introducing and promoting new native plant products and educating businesses and the general public on native and foraged plants.
Ice cream is a great way to showcase flavours and
I like to utilize it to help people connect with the plants.
If you are interested in learning about edible plants and would like to try my ice cream,
book a tour below.
