Foraging & Spice-cream - Botanic gardens Wellington - 10am.
This is a three hour event at the Wellington Botanic Gardens ki Paekākā with professional forager Mike King. You’ll learn about edible plants, native and exotic. After a 2 hour walk we sample various homemade botanical ice cream flavours and chat about native spices.

About the event
I have a personal interest in finding new and unique botanical flavours and spices, so that is a focus of my events.
MEETING PLACE IS AT THE DISCOVERY GARDEN WHICH YOU WILL FIND JUST ABOVE THE TREE HOUSE VISITORS CENTRE at the Botanic Gardens in Wellington.
Please bring good walking shoes and a rain jacket if needed.
The botanical ice creams are mostly with a dairy base. If you are dairy free let me know and ill make sure to bring along some dairy free ice cream options along.
